Outside Mount L-Frame
Measuring For an "L" Frame
1. Measure the inside width 3 places, add 1 1/2" per side (3"
total to width).
2. Measure the inside height in 3 places, 1/2" per side (3"
total to height).
3. Use largest measurements and specify outside mount, 4 sided L-Frame,
on order form.
4. If a 3 sided L-Frame is requires add 1 1/2" to height measurement.
Note - If additional projection is required, indicate 1 L-Frame
extension for every 1/2" projection required.

Outside Measurements for Casing Frame or L-Frame on Top of Trim
1. Measure width to outside of trim in 3 places. Check for minimum
trim width.
2. Measure height to outside of trim in 3 places. Check for minimum
trim width.
Use largest measurements and specify outside mount on order form.

Measurements for L-Frame Only
1. Measure width to outside of trim in 3 places, add 1 1/2"
per side.
2. Measure height to outside of trim in 3 places, add 1 1/2"
per side.
Use largest measurements and specify outside mount on order form.
Inside Mount with Trim Frame or Without
Frame

1. Measure for depth clearance or use shutter panel.
2. Measure inside width in 3 places - top, middle and bottom.
3. Measure inside height in 3 places - top, middle and bottom.
4. Use smallest measurements.
5. Check for squareness by measuring on diagonals - A & B.
6. If diagonal measurements are not identical, an inside mount without
frame is not feasible, rather use an inside mount with a trim frame
or an outside mount with an L-frame.
