Plantation Shutters
We can manufacture shutters almost any shape, any size, manual or motorized for interior or exterior use. For interior shutters, standard louver sizes are 2 ½", 3 ½" or 4 ½" , if it required larger or smaller louvers can be custom made. For exterior shutters, louvers can be from 1" to all the way up to 12". Depending on the wood species , exterior wood louvers are limited to length due to the nature of the wood. Aluminum louvers length can exceed the wood louvers as much as twice the length. Fully functional wood shutters cannot be hurricane rated and may not able to withstand against hurricane force wind. For maximum wind protections, aluminum louvers are better alternative to wood louvers. For exterior application, wood species must be exterior grade such as Teak, IPE, Cedar etc...
